• strengthen the research and institutional cooperation among the partners
• leverage the cooperation to improve the BUT's excellence and competitiveness

• create a virtual research centrum of fundamental technologies for automated verification, analysis and design techniques for safe and secure SW

Strategic Goals

SG1: Strengthen scientific excellence, visibility and credibility of BUT in selected domains (WP2, WP3)

• to develop and execute scientific strategy and supportive programme stimulating the scientific excellence and innovation capacities
• to design and execute joint R&I projects consolidating consortium linkages demonstrating validity of research ideas and provide evidence to obtain additional- and/or unlock new sources of funding

SG2: Improve institutional level, R&I governance and competencies of BUT (WP4)

• to develop and execute a strategy for institutional upgrade and improve administration skills/competencies
• to form a specialised team within BUT’s R&I administration dedicated to international cooperation

SG3: Integration and sustainable development (WP5)

• to develop and execute integration and networking strategy to elevate the position in networks and to establish, maintain and develop long-term beneficial interactions and relations with stakeholders/ecosystem
• to develop sustainable strategy and design R&I roadmap for joint cooperation beyond funding period

Key Expected Results

Improved BUT’s performance – scientific excellence as well as administrative support

• Scientific excellence strategy / R&I governance and admin. strategy with derived actions: knowledge transfer/sharing, linking with advanced partners’ units/R&I groups, training, and ethics
• Improved skills of 15+ scientists, 6+ non-scientific staff via at least 5 clusters of workshops, 8+ trainings, and 21 mobilities

VASSAL as a base of further research in SW engineering technologies

• 4 pilot R&I projects enabling opportunities for future research
• R&I roadmap for collaboration

Integration, improved support and source of knowledge for the ecosystem

• Integration and networking strategy to promote and build awareness, credibility and attractiveness
• VASSAL guidelines for robust & resilient SW/systems (incl. economics)
• Commercialization potential assessed by R&I Exploitation Board (RIIEB)
• Specific events tailored to target audience organized to leverage knowledge and/or awareness
