Kick-off meeting

On June 17th, 2024 the kick-off meeting of the VASSAL project was held at the Faculty of Information Technology, Brno University of Technology. The kick-off meeting was partly held in the hybrid form via Zoom platform. All partners were present at the meeting.

• Presentation given by the EC project officer (Maria Korda, EC REA) + Q&A

• Introduction of the particular WPs (presented by BUT WP co-/leaders)
  • Goals, deliverables, and milestones
• Technical information (web, document repository, mailing list)
• Financing: Lump Sum scheme / Prefinancing
• Free discussion
  • Project management (Reporting, Work plan)
  • Consortium Agreement (CA) status (Milan Ceska, BUT)

The main priority of the meeting was to focus on a smooth start of the project, establish communication channels and VASSAL bodies that will help to drive the work in work packages. All members received instructions for nomination of representatives to VASSAL bodies, for the upcoming steps per work packages and work to be delivered within the Q1.
